CYFS Community Breakfast

The 2012 CYFS Community Breakfast will be held on Thursday, April 26th from 8:00 to 9:30 at the University Area Holiday Inn and Conference Center in Charlottesville. Our keynote speaker will be Dahlia Lithwick, Senior Editor at Slate Magazine.

The John L. Snook Child Advocate and the Mitch Van Yahres Family-Friendly Employer will be given at the event.

If you know someone who is committed to helping kids and families in our community through volunteer work, advocacy or in their professional lives, you can nominate them for the 2012 John L. Snook Child Advocate Award.

If you work for an employer who is sensitive to the needs of their employees and their families, nominate them for the 2012 Mitch Van Yahres Family-Friendly Employer Award. This award honors an employer with practices that instill a family-friendly work culture.  Children, Youth & Family Services recognizes the benefits to employers and employees when family needs are fulfilled.
