Is Your Employer Family-Friendly?

Nominate your employer for the 2009 Mitch Van Yahres Family Friendly Employer Award.  This award honors an employer with practices that instill a family friendly work culture.  CYFS recognizes the benefits to employers and employees when family needs are fulfilled.  Only organizations, businesses or other employers are eligible and only employees may nominate.

Your submission should include no more than a two-page description of why this employer should receive the award with examples of family friendly practices you have experienced that have affected your life.  Examples might include ways in which your employer showed a unique understanding of family commitments, unexpected crises, or ways in which policies have been crafted to focus on family needs.
