CYFS Bridge to QualityTraining
These trainings offer the opportunity for a provider to obtain 6 training hours. They are intended for anyone who provides care for children. The Eight Competency Areas identified for early childhood professionals are the overarching guidelines for training topics. Topic areas include health and safety, child growth and development, child observation, partnering with families, the learning environment, effective interactions, program management and professional devlopment.

Skills Training
This training is 1.5 hours in length. Training is intended for unregulated and Voluntary Registered providers receiving subsidy payments from Albemarle or Charlottesville DSS or receiving payments from the United Way Child Care Scholarship program. Topics cover areas of child development and health and safety.
Training for Directors
This training is 2 hours in length. Training is intended for Directors of Child Care Centers in the community. Topics cover center management.
