Internships 2010-2011Available

Fall/Spring
Family Connections/parenting Mobile— full time internships for 1st year graduate students in social work or related field to assist with early literacy programs working with children newborn-age 6 (day time hours) Billingual ability  is a plus!

Undergraduate/graduate Intern to assist with early literacy program 1 night a week for a parenting class (6 sessions, 4 x year).

Undergraduate/graduate intern for REAL DADS program-Male needed to work with fathers in the community. Visit REAL DADS for more information.

Also looking for an intern to assist with providing developmental assessment and follow up with low-income children and families in conjunction with the parenting mobile. Visit Parenting Mobile/Family connections webpage for more information.

Victims of Child Abuse Program-2nd year graduate students in social work, counseling, or related field working with children who have been abused, neglected, or witnessed domestic violence. Can serve as field placement/internship for required graduate work. Visit VOCA website for more information.

Play Partners/Star Kids: 5-10 hours a week, creating mini-kits for literacy programs and providing weekly Play Partners sessions in child care settings. Visit Play Partners/Star Kids website for more information.
