Full-time and Part-time Jobs

TREATMENT SPECIALIST (40 hours per week) for Victims of Child Abuse Program to provide counseling and supportive services to children, adolescents, and their families.  Master’s degree in counseling or related field required. FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (Part Time, at least 20 hours per week)
Seeking an experienced and energetic individual with a passion for working with children and families! PT position to work with families with young children (0-6) providing home visiting services, parenting information and support.  Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent education/experience required.  Bilingual applicants (English-Spanish) strongly preferred. Internships

CYFS has several different internship opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate level students.
Below are some of the different options offered:

1st year Masters Level or Undergraduate Internship - Early Learning Intern (2013-2014 academic year)

Work closely with social workers and parent educator in implementing early learning/literacy based playgroups for low-income children (ages 0-5) and their families. Work collaboratively with a small group of volunteers to implement a weekly literacy based program. Assist with administering developmental screenings for young children. Weekly supervision provided.

Early Learning Internships are generally 10-15 hours a week for the academic year. Please contact Hilary Nagel at hnagel@cyfs.org for Early Learning Internship inquires.

2nd year Masters Level Interns Only- Youth Services Intern
**The Youth Services internship position has been filled for the 2013-2014 academic year.  Students interested in applying for the 2014-2015 academic year should begin submitting requests in January 2014.
