Meet our Staff

Emergency Shelter 
Volunteer host homes provide 24-hour supervision
and shelter to teens up to 18 years old who have left home. In the
event a family home is unavailable or inappropriate, the program also offers
spaces at a local group home in Charlottesville. If you are interested
in opening your home to a youth in need, contact contact Melissa Cohen at 434-296-4118, ext. 234. Volunteer host home providers receive training, ongoing support and a stipend
while housing youth.
