Meet our Program Staff






Runaway Emergency Services Program Counselor, Aisha Hayat received her Master's in Counseling from the University of Virginia in 2009. She is a National Certified Counselor and is working toward her LPC. Aisha has found a new home in Charlottesville after living in St. Louis for most of her life. During her down time, Aisha enjoys reading, going to concerts, and following the St. Louis Cardinals. She also enjoys long walks with her dog, Lucy.

Runaway Emergency Services Program Counselor,Paige Nolt, received her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in May 2008. Paige has over two years of experience working with at-risk children and adolescents and is currently working towards her LCSW. Paige moved to Charlottesville last year and in her free time enjoys hiking, being outdoors with her dog, and spending time with her husband and friends.

 

MelissaCYFS Youth Services Program Manager,Melissa Cohen, LCSW, has over 10 years of experience in direct service delivery and supervisory duties. Melissa has worked primarily with children, adolescents, and their families. Her experience ranges from working with children with developmental disabilities, children with cancer, working in a residential facility and in a school for at-risk youth and students with mental illness. She is currently licensed in the State of California as a LCSW and soon in Virginia. Melissa moved from Los Angeles to Charlottesville last year and in her free time likes to go to the movies, read, and spend time with her family and husband. Melissa is also an excellent bowler and loves to golf.
